All our Quad-Line kites have been designed from the outset to take maximum advantage of quad-line control systems and the materials and technology available to the modern kite flyer. The aero-elastic tailoring engineered into all Inter Active Quads allows the kite to adopt the optimum aerodynamic form for the combination of both wind and kite speed. At speed the kite's wings sweep back, resulting in a deep stable form giving the kite enormous drive, lightning acceleration and dead straight tracking. At low relative air speeds, the wings sweep forward and the kite adopts a less stable, shallow, or flat form, giving the pilot maximum precision of control in all directions and allowing breathtaking propeller spins. No bridle is necessary! - the advanced aerodynamic design does away with this relic of the Cody era and allows you to master every nuance of the kite's control directly through the twin joystick style control handles. Moreover, the scope within the design is enormous, by changing sail area, frame stiffness, control rod position and many other variables, almost any flying characteristic can be achieved, so that even two apparently similar shapes can be designed to handle totally differently, thus ensuring an enormous variety of different flight and control characteristics to suit every taste and all abilities.
